Grow in Prayer: We encourage women to run to God in prayer before running to others and talking about it. "The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 1:16b
Grow in Fellowship: We desire for women to be refreshed & encouraged by spending time together & having meaningful discussions. "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:42
Grow in Friendships: We understand the importance of support and accountability, therefore at Thrive we encourage women to establish God-centered friendships with one another. "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17

Inspiring women to reach their God-given potential!
Sonia Montoya seeks to inspire women to reach their God-given potential and discover their calling as women of God through teaching women’s bible studies, speaking at conferences and retreats and interacting with women one on one. She is the director of Thrive Women’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel Southwest in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has been married to Ray Montoya for twenty-five years and has four children. Sonia enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
